Qmagnet Prescription for knee pain:
Simple knee pain Qmagnets can be placed in either of two arrays depending on the intensity of the pain. Firstly, for mild to moderate pain place Qmagnets on the medial and lateral tibio-femoral joint lines
Physiologically: The steep field gradient generated by the Quadrapolar magnetic array closes leaking ion gates at the nerve cell membrane and returns abnormally firing nerves to a resting state. Therefore the centre of the Qmagnet needs to be placed over the irritated nerve (i.e. Femoral nerve) or innervated structure (Medial or Lateral collateral ligament) to maximize its physiological and clinical effects.
Intense knee pain
The application of the Qmagnets should be superior, inferior, medially and laterally to the knee joint capsule as indicated
