Qmagnet placements
Qmagnet Prescription for shoulder pain:
Shoulder joint pain can be treated with Qmagnet devices as shown by placing devices anterior and posterior to the glenohumeral joint, and inferior to the acromion process. Use at least three devices.
Physiologically: The steep field gradient generated by the Quadrapolar magnetic array closes leaking ion gates at the nerve cell membrane and returns abnormally firing nerves to a resting state. Therefore the centre of the Qmagnet needs to be placed over the irritated nerve (i.e. Brachial plexus derivative) or innervated structure to maximize its physiological and clinical effects.
The above demonstrated the posterior placement, a combination of all three devices is recommended.
Acute Shoulder Injuries
Pain due to an overuse injury or muscle strain may benefit by placement of the device over the effective trigger point (i.e. levator scapulae) and posterior to the glenohumeral joint.
